2. Processing of contact and enquiry forms

When you use our forms, we process the data you provide (name, email or phone, message, property reference where applicable) solely to handle your enquiry (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR). The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for processing and no statutory retention obligations apply.

3. Traffic Measurement

We anonymously analyse which pages are accessed in order to improve our offering. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. In doing so, no IP addresses are stored and no cookies are set. To distinguish visits within a single day, we generate a hash value from the IP address, browser identifier, and a randomly generated value that changes daily; this rules out any attribution to a specific person or recognition beyond that day. We record the time, the page accessed, the language version, the device type, the referring page, and a country derived from the browser language. We also count whether contact was made via the form or WhatsApp. The data is processed exclusively on our own server in Germany and is not shared with third parties.

4. Server Log Data

When the website is accessed, the hosting provider processes technically necessary data (IP address, time, page accessed) on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR. Hosting provider: Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen

5. WhatsApp Contact

If you contact us via WhatsApp, the privacy policy of WhatsApp Ireland Ltd. additionally applies. Its use is voluntary; all matters can alternatively be handled by email or phone.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR), as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, e.g. the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.

Commission agreement and withdrawal

If you send an enquiry about a property for sale via our website, we will send you a link by e-mail to confirm the commission agreement (brokerage contract). If you confirm the agreement or declare a withdrawal using the “Withdraw from contract” function, we store your name, your e-mail address, the property, the wording and version of the agreement, the date and time and your IP address as proof. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR.

If the agreement has not been confirmed after 24 hours, we will remind you once by e-mail. We delete unconfirmed enquiries after six months, and records of confirmed contracts and withdrawals after the statutory limitation and retention periods have expired.

Quarterly letter and property offers by email

If you subscribe to our quarterly letter, we store your email address, language, website and the date and time of subscription and confirmation. You only receive emails after clicking the confirmation link (double opt-in). The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time via the unsubscribe link in every email.

Clients who have given us a search request are informed by email about new matching properties and price reductions. The legal basis is your consent or our legitimate interest in looking after our clients (Art. 6(1)(a) and (f) GDPR). Every email contains a link that stops these emails immediately; afterwards we keep your address only on a block list so that you are not contacted again.
